Se desarrolla una Ruy López o Española, donde lo mas difícil de determinar, es la ubicación del alfil dama negro. Cori opta por jugar 16...Ae6!?. Pero luego de 23.Cd5!, las aprovechan que no se podrá 23...Cd5 por 25.ed5 y el alfil de e6 quedara clavado y perdido.

En vistas de su próximo encuentro en Valencia 2009, entre el 21 y 24 de septiembre. Todos conocemos mucho sobre ellos. La primera vez que se enfrentaron entre si, fue en Leningrado 1975. Allí fue empate, siendo Karpov Campeón Mundial, ante lo ocurrido con Fischer. La última vez que jugaron fue el 22/08/2006 en Lichthof Blitz. Fue empate. Acaso en Valencia ganara Kasparov?
