Realmente cada día el Ajedrecista pasa de ser un mero practicante del Ajedrez, a convertirse en un nuevo explorador de los infinitos vericuetos que posee este juego milenario.

creador del sistema de desempate Sonneborn-Berger, Berger se destacó como composi-
tor de finales artísticos y jugador por correspondencia. Autor de diversas obras de muy grado didáctico y editor de la revista Deutsche Schachzeitung.
