Jan- Krzysztof Duda , nacido el 26 de abril de 1998, en Cracovia , Polonia, aprendió a jugar al ajedrez a la edad de cinco años. En poco tiempo empezó a lograr un éxito significativo en ámbitos nacionales e internacionales. Ganó decenas de medallas en campeonatos menores polacos , en diferentes categorías de edad .
En 2005 ganó el título de Campeón Internacional de Alemania en la sección Bajo 8 , en 2008 la medalla de oro en el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil Sub 10 en Vung Tau. En 2009 ganó una medalla de plata en el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil Sub 12 en Antalya y fue galardonado con el título de Maestro FIDE . En 2010 ganó la medalla de bronce en el Campeonato Mundial Juvenil Sub 12 en Porto Carras . En 2011 ganó la medalla de plata en el Campeonato de Europa Junior Sub 14 en Albena .
En 2012 ganó el Ajedrez Verano Olomouc 2012 - torneo Valoz Copa GM en Olomouc una puntuación de 8.5/11 y con esta su primera norma de GM . En 2012 también ganó la medalla de oro en el Campeonato de Europa Junior Sub 14 en Praga y fue galardonado con el título de Maestro Internacional . En marzo de 2013 ganó el primer lugar del torneo el sábado en Budapest con una puntuación de 8,0 / 9 y con esta su segunda norma de GM . En abril de 2013 fue el décimo en el Campeonato polaco en Chorzów . En mayo de 2013 obtuvo su tercera norma de GM durante el Campeonato de Europa de Ajedrez Individual en Legnica , Polonia.
Jan- Krzysztof Duda es el miembro del equipo de profesionales de ajedrez " Wojtaszek Equipo Comarch " , junto con los gerentes generales Radoslaw Wojtaszek y Dariusz Swiercz . El equipo Wojtaszek Comarch es un proyecto que tiene como objetivo apoyar el desarrollo de los jugadores de ajedrez polacos con más talento 



Jan-Krzysztof Duda, born on April 26, 1998, in Krakow, Poland, learnt to play chess at the age of five. In a short time he began to achieve significant success in national and international arenas. He won tens of medals in Polish Junior Championships, in different age categories.

In 2005 he won the title of International Champion of Germany in the Under 8 section, in 2008 the gold medal in World Junior Championship Under 10 in Vung Tau. In 2009 he won a silver medal in World Junior Championship Under 12 in Antalya and was awarded the title of FIDE Master. In 2010 he won the bronze medal in World Junior Championship Under 12 in Porto Carras. In 2011 he won silver medal in European Junior Championship Under 14 in Albena.

In 2012 he won the Olomouc Chess Summer 2012 – Valoz Cup GM tournament in Olomouc an 8.5/11 score and with this his first GM norm. In 2012 he also won gold medal in European Junior Championship Under 14 in Prague and was awarded the title of International Master. In March 2013 he won the First Saturday tournament in Budapest with a score of 8.0/9 and with this his second GM norm. In April 2013 he was tenth in the Polish Chess Championship in Chorzów. In May 2013 he earned his third GM norm during the European Individual Chess Championship in Legnica, Poland.

Jan-Krzysztof Duda is the member of the professional chess team "Wojtaszek Comarch Team", together with GMs Radoslaw Wojtaszek and Dariusz Swiercz. The Wojtaszek Comarch Team is a project which aims to support the development of the most talented Polish chess players.
